FIRST TIME IN 32 YEARS- ENUGU RANGERS HAVE WON THE (NPFL).

The tactful flying antelopes beat El-Kanemi Warriors by 4-0 on Sunday evening at home based Stadium Nnamdi Azikiwe in Enugu.
Fortunately for them, just after three minutes from the penalty box Chisom Egbuchulam scored to open the net. After An El-Kanemi team member in the defence line touched the ball with his hand.
Not quite long before half time Osas Okoro made it two.
As if that is not enough, the unbeatable lion Egbuchulam got the third and fourth goals in the 64th and 94th minutes to raise the flag that hand rangers the title.
In furtherance,  the new NPFL champions have made a move to get a CAF Champions League ticket for next season and 40 million Naira from the League Management Company for their efforts.
Imama Amapakabo, who is the Enugu Rangers coach, could not hold his joy after the club’s heroic performance. the Coal City side’s seventh top-flight title gotten on a good 63 points, three ahead of closest challengers, Rivers United.
Amapakabo still expressing his satisfaction said he was excited winning the top-flight title in his first stint as head coach of the Enugu outfit.
“It’s unfortunate that the whole season campaign has to end on somehow sad note with the last minute injury on sustained by Ifeanyi Egwim.
“Whatsoever, we are thankful to God that Enugu Rangers are champions of the 2015/16 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
“After anxious waiting for a whole 32 years, God helps us to achieve these glorious performances.
“The players have been exceptionally wonderful from start to finish and they truly imbibe the catchword campaign ‘believe’.
 “I’m happy winning the top-flight title in my first stint as coach of Enugu Rangers.

“I want to sleep over what is going on right now perhaps when I wake up the celebration will start in full swing,” he told Super Sports.
