OXFORD DODO IS TAKING A NEW SHAPE
Oxford museum improves by introducing new glass roofing which
allows sunlight. The positive change in the museum brings about destruction of
some important exhibits including dinosaur skeletons and rare taxidermy specimens.
Still on the plan of introducing innovation to the museum,
Oxford University Museum of Natural History advanced in her plans to bring a
solar reflective film to the glass roof to further reduce the temperature down
to 44 degree Celsius.
The brain behind the removal and the replacement is because
of the intense heart in the museum which also affects the visitors.
The introduction of
the anti UV film a welcome development, will reduce the UV radiation by 99.9
percent, but will do little to bring temperature down, which is the factor that
causes damages to the exhibits.
